 Politics versus the youth in India

Congress or BJP, who will change the youth of India? 

Tanveer Sait has introduced the  policy “teachers going away from urban to rural.” And our favourite former Human Resource Development minister, Prakash Javadekar,contradicted him by stating that this policy was passed right after he was caught watching “adult videos” during the Tipu Sultan Jayanthi.

Well, was that really the matter of concern?YES,according to Mr.Javadekar anyway...

Quality of teachers has always imposed a huge problem and this plays a paramount role in the upliftment of the country. Like Tanveer Sait rightly said “it is the kind of experiance teachers have and not the number of years the teachers have got the experiance…Basically, the quality matters and never the quantity.”  

Teachers in the urban areas are more modern in thier teaching methods than the teachers in the rural areas.This is mainly due to the fact that the urban teachers have more exposure to the technicalities of the developed world. “They aim for Globalisation..”, replies Tanveer Sait. Teachers in “not so economically better areas” face a huge disadvantage as compared to the urban teachers as they have very little scope for improvement. 
“Sufficient measures have been taken, and more will be taken, but we need time” protests,Mr.Sait. Not to forget, Mr. Sait is a staunch believer of the fact that urban teachers are different from those in the rural. Even though both of them have a motive of spreading education, the ‘quality’ differs. Urban city teachers are said to be more experienced and know how to train students better for competitive exams, apperently. Is that why so many toppers are from rural areas? Also, many teachers justify their jobs in urban areas as they get a better payment than those in rural areas. Tanveer Sait also believes that urban teachers are more globalised, and will take students a longer way thatn rural teachers would, as he called them “alienated”. So, to help them out, he had a very practical idea of transferring teachers from urban areas to rual areas, so as to improve the quality of education. Also, facing the consequences, would also be their families, who would be moving with them. Very idealistic, is it not? 

But Mr.Javadekar beats round the bush and questions Mr.Sait’s objectives. But being who he is, he came back with a witty remark that he must be questioned about his”IMPLECATION” and not his “MOTIVES”. He threw a question, informing the committee that all this was implied in haste, and also termed it futile. Smart person that Tanveer Sait is, commented that it took two years to implement this, and two years is not in “haste”. Luckily Javedkar did not say that it took too long! 

This whole debate was started when Rahul Gandhi made a comment that Prakash Javadekar “did not know what he was doing”. After Tanveer Sait took the wrong decision and informed the commitee that he was watching explicit material during Tipu Sultan Jayanthi during his first statement, he was horded by oceans of questions, mostly asking for confessions about what exactly he was doing. Of course, if he would not have said that, this whole debate would have not even taken place. Tanveer Sait “wants them to question his implementations, and not his motives”, did that trigger other political leaders? Whatever the Indian National Congress implement, it will obviously take time. So, we as people have to just sit and watch such debates happening? That is surely not the right thing to do, being active, responsible and educated citizens.

These two blocs were the only two blocs in the DISEC general assembly. United States; Divided Thoughts

It is a widely acknowledged fact that the United States conducts itself in a hypocritical manner, and contradicts itself repeatedly in international forums. The Disarmament and International Security Council proved to be no different, and the press conference revealed the double standards the government has for its citizens. The United States has conducted itself in an entirely unfit manner, but somehow, it remains unsurprising. When asked informally, the delegate of the US said that she would refuse to answer any questions in the press conference, so it came as a surprise when she spoke on gun control regulations within the US.
