EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE EXAMINATION SYSTEM (EDITORIAL)
The exam system is the system which is used through he world for testing students on the amount of knowledge that they know. But nowadays here have been complaints about the exam system of India not being fair for students. Students are pressured to study for a test only through a text book. It is said that universities are encouraging rat races,instead of trying of trying to help students join the collage of their choice. Here the creativity and innovation of the student takes a backseat while memorizing is leading the way. This is not fair as every student as their own talent and should be let to pursue it. University exams are designed to get the best out of thousands of students. However this leads to mugging of the text books and only tests the memory of students and not the other aspects. Since the exams are getting competitive, it will lead to joining coaching classes which have their own disadvantages such as expenses. It also encourages cramming and forgetting than long last learning. There is also extreme pressure from parents and the world since the worlds is really competitive. This leads to increase stress since there are limited seats and students are chosen in normal means. It is also rooted with a lot learning which will hardly be used in everyday life. Apart from that the students have to make a lot of decision s which can affect their entire life. Due to exams the students have to give up their passion. They also have retain their abilities because reading out of the syllibus is said to a violation. This is simply shameful. All the history that we learn will be a waste as we will not us it in our everyday life. Maybe they should teach something that students will use in their life such as how to pay taxes or to what they want to do as a full time job. Students should not show only their retention power but other abilities as well. Today students are compeletly orientated and take examinations because of the requirments to pass rather than to gain knowledge. even students have come to the conclusions that is what represents them!!! Exams also lead to nervousness and it would lead to getting less marks and can lead to depression.
there is a lot of portions they have to learn that will not be used in their daily life. The real profits comes to students when they undustand the concepts that come to use in their everyday life. not everything should not be taken in a formal rating system. the result is that what represents a student.There are people with there heads are filled no jobs because they hardly know anything abot everyday life since their heads are filled with useless things and everything in school and extra classes happen i such a rush.
TO CONCLUDE: a few things must change but until then every single student must work hard and not give up!!!!!!!
