Cyber terrorism is one of the most creepy and threatening fears in the present world that is powerful enough to even destroy an individual. China is the world's second-largest economy, and a nuclear weapons state with the world's second-largest defence budget.
Chinese Information Operations and Information Warfare includes the concept of “network warfare”, roughly analogous to the United States concept of cyberwarfare.
These non-state acts are mostly done through social media and many other ways. Few facts state that china is one the first countries to find preventive measures against cyber terrorism. Attempts in china to protect its states interests in the event of cyber-attacks area bit stronger than those of the other states, with strict new laws. The law was passed in November, taking in six months of corporate criticism before coming into effect. Under this law the online service providers are banned from collecting the personal information of the users and the information taken at that time will be deleted in cases of misuse of information. This law further perfected the rules of personal information protection. China takes part in the international discussions for international co-operations against cyber terrorism. It is a part of the UNSC which plays an important role in the international co- operations against cyber terrorism. china works with regional organisation such as ARF to fight cybercrime and also studies thoroughly about the new threats in cybercrime. There have been many controversies under this topic for instance, Apple announced that it would transfer the operation of iCloud in Mainland China to a government sponsored data company named Guizhou-Cloud big data. Meanwhile, online service including Skype, WhatsApp, etc., refused to store their data locally and were either banned from operating in china or restrained from further expansion.
The Chinese Defence Ministry confirmed the existence of an online defence unit in May 2011. Composed of about thirty elite internet specialists, the so-called "Cyber Blue Team", or "Blue Army", is officially claimed to be engaged in cyber-defence operations, though there are fears the unit has been used to penetrate secure online systems of foreign governments.

Cyber terrorism can be caused by weak protection codes made for various devices, websites. These can be prevented by making the websites encrypted with special codes, usage of antivirus software. A basic approach is to design the system to be secure from an attack from the beginning. If this is done properly, attacks may be prevented because they would be perceived to be futile, or if launched, they would cause no damage. CERT also recommends that companies keep all programs patched when vendors supply security updates, and that they keep logs of activity to detect any unusual events. Secure systems with hardware and software protection, install intrusion detection systems and respond immediately to any intrusions. These are three key recommendations from the Computer Emergency Response Team, which deals with computer threats.
Though China has found ways of preventing non-state cyber acts it will take time for the cyberwarfare, cyberterrorism to completely abolish in the entire world as well. Also we should too take a support each other by creating more ways of cyber security and not support the non- state actors who are in their way to destroy the whole mankind in various ways.
